Integrating advanced PK/PD models with systems biology to make early impacts in the decision making process.

With increasing costs and time pressures surrounding clinical development of new drugs the industry and regulatory agencies are recognising the importance of modelling and simulation in drug development and are working towards new methods to improve upon this. The regulatory agencies are encouraging earlier use of PK/PD and use of predictive models earlier.

This annual marcus evans conference will be focusing on overcoming these challenges by understanding from a technology and concept perspective on how to marry the distinct practices of PKPD and systems biology.

Industry practitioners will profile the latest developments in modelling techniques and examine the applications of modelling and simulation in different disease areas. We also review the regulatory approval of models and compare the differences in EU and US regulations governing predictive modelling for better implementation and therefore reduce the cost and increase the efficiency of new drugs development ultimately with more accurate predictive modelling.
