KOKOS for the most talented designers in technical universities

The most talented manufacturers were recognized among students of technical universities throughout Poland in the Student Construction Competition – KOKOS.

The aim of the competition, implemented by the Independent Student Association, was to select and reward the most talented young makers, and their substantive support through the implementation of accompanying events for training and workshops in the field of exhibition art, soft skills or business strategies.

The winners were chosen in six categories: Vehicle, Environment, Intelligent Robots, Life Upgrade, Joker and in the Special Rail category, under the auspices of Polskie Koleje Państwowe SA.

In the automotive category, the winner is the PUT Motorsport team from Poznan University of Technology for the eWarta race car. In the Ecology category, the GUST project related to wind energy, established by the Scientific Association of Students of Energy Engineers from Lodz University of Technology, was recognized.

In the intelligent robotics category, the AGH Space Systems team from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow was awarded the Kalman Autonomous Planetary Rover project. And in the category Life Upgrade: AlterARM from the Jawornicka Dynamics team from Poznan University of Technology.

The manufacturers of the OKOŃ V2 submarine won the Joker category created by the OKOŃ team from Warsaw University of Technology. In the railroad category, the authors of the ROSTANICE railway station project: Martyna Majer, Milena Szymczak, Magdalena Golina, Mateusz Otto and Agnieszka Strap from Wrocław University of Technology.

“This year’s release surprised us with a record number of requests. We are very happy that KOKOS is generating increased interest from year to year, and that the construction provided is at an increasingly higher level,” says Judita Pedro, National Coordinator for Student Structures Competition, citing the press release.
