Sony has developed the new out-of-space PlayStation Store for PS3, PS Vity and PSP. However, platform users do not give up – the plugin prepared for the Firefox browser allows you to purchase products for the old systems of the Japanese manufacturer.
The new PlayStation Store introduces a fresh design The removal of PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vity, and PlayStation Portable games from the store website was a completely controversial decision. We now know that the aforementioned decision was related to the progressive cutoff of the three classic platforms from the store, however, the community managed to save the PS3 and PS Vita.
Jim Ryan confirmed this Sony made a mistakePlan to end support for digital purchases, and to undo the PS Store closures for two older devices. Officially, we will only be able to purchase games via consoles – no changes have been announced on the store website and in the app.
However, players have prepared a plug for Firefox titled “Valkyrie PS Store”, which allows access to the old store. The project uses archived pages on Archive.org. The materials below explain that the website works and allows, among other things, searches for specific products. If you are using a different browser, you can access the classic PlayStation Store by pasting the URL on the site.
