Samsung could remove the “Z” from the titles of the Galaxy Fold 4 and Flip 4

More reports regarding Samsung’s two major product announcements are surfacing as the company’s second Unpacked press event approaches in less than a week. For the Fold 4 and Flip 4 foldable smartphones, a well-known leaker on Twitter suggests that Samsung may be ditching the “Z” moniker.

According to the rumour, these two phones would no longer display the “Z” element of their names on their packaging. In several Eastern European nations, Samsung has already dropped the “Z” from its older Fold and Flip phone branding. While Samsung hasn’t commented on this, it’s probable that the company is trying to separate itself from Russia’s military invasion of Ukraine earlier this year by painting “Z” on several of their trucks.

In addition, Samsung may believe that eliminating the “Z” branding from the Fold 4 and Flip 4’s titles would simplify things for customers. When Samsung’s Unpacked event takes place on Wednesday, August 10, we hope to learn more about this development. We’ll be following the media event from every aspect to ensure that you know everything that’s going to be announced.
